Where do I start?

Will braces change how I talk or eat?
Most people need a few days to get used to them. Speech is usually normal straight away, and eating gets easier within the first week or so.
Do I need retainers forever?
Long-term retainer wear, often just at night, is recommended to keep teeth in their new position.
