At a glance
- This patient started with several spaces, including a gap between the two upper front teeth.
- Clear aligners closed the spaces step by step, with each set making a small change.
- Aligners come out for meals and brushing, so they suit busy adults who want a discreet option.
- Retainers then hold the teeth together so the gaps stay closed.

Your questions answered
Is a front-tooth gap simple to close?
Often, but it depends on the cause. We check your gums, bite and tooth sizes before recommending treatment.
Will colleagues notice my aligners?
Most people will not. Aligners are thin and clear, and small tooth-coloured attachments are usually hard to see.
Is AddaSmile available at SW3 Dental?
Yes. We offer AddaSmile, a clear aligner brand, and Invisalign, and can compare the two at your consultation.
